Overall LG has been a complete and horrible experience. I paid for installation and then tried to cancel it well before it was even shipped or delivered and they refused to do it repeatedly and they keep trying to charge me for it even though I need to have my plumber do the install because of electrical and plumbing changes. I mustve made 15 calls to these folks trying to get them to cancel the insulation and all they did is keep saying well. When do you want us to schedule it? When do you want us to schedule it and refuse to refund. I will never buy an LG product ever again.

The overall features of this dishwasher are great and does what you need in a dishwasher. However just about a year and a half after purchase we had both the control board and door latch mechanism fail from what likely is to be a moisture issue. After reading other reviews and similar customer issues online it seems this might be a fairly common issue with these machines. Rather than pay to have it repaired a third time we are replacing the unit entirely with a different model. Disappointing that machines at this price point are not built to last longer than 1-2 years.

I bought this in April of 2022. It worked incredibly until one day it was as if there was no power at all. We checked to make sure the cords were still connected correctly switched the breakers and unplugged it/ plugged it back in. It powered on long enough to show it light up and powered back off as if there was no power again. Every time you unplug it and plug it back in it does the same thing. I called the number for LG and was on hold for over an hour to be told it is no longer under warranty and I would be charged for someone to come look at it. Okay fine- get put on hold for another 20 minutes for them to come back and say there is nobody in My area or surrounding areas that can come look at it or diagnose it. So I spent just under a grand for a dishwasher to break just outside of the warranty and still have no ability to have someone look at it to get it fixed

Had a hard time getting ahold of service -- they sent me info to fix myself first. Although this part was warranted for 5 years trying to get LG to honor the warranty was like having a wisdom tooth pulled. Their authorized repair company was joke. LEAK DETECTION WORKED GREAT

48 hours after installation and on the 2nd wash the unit gave us an error code relating to a leak it detected. A repair person was sent out within a matter of hours and it was determined that the unit was defective and would need replacing. Replacement of the unit went well and after a few weeks of use we are very happy with our new DW. I should mention that all both of the repair/delivery persons involved said they had never seen a defective LG. I highly recommend this unit. Also love that 3rd rack.

I absolutely love my new dishwasher I always have rinsed my dishes so I was a real skeptic about the scrape and load. Always viewed the dishwasher more like a sanitizer to be honest. I have several other LG appliances that all work fabulous so I gave it a go. Let me tell you this dishwasher does not disappoint and is very quiet. I ran a load that had some dried on foods and it all came off every shelf load was sparkling clean. Very impressed and I love that it uses steam and doesnt need the heating element to dry.

I have been slowly trying the different features of the dishwasher to see how it performs. So far the dishwasher works great. Its a lot quieter than my old dishwasher and gets the dishes clean the first time. There is very little moisture left on the dishes when the cycle is done.

Terrible delivery experience

LG cannot seem to have an appliance delivered without damage. We tried to skip the middle man Home Depot and order directly from LG.com. First we ordered a microwave which arrived with 2 holes in the box. After inspecting it we decided to take a chance and since the mw did not appear damaged we kept it. Then we ordered a dishwasher. It arrived with a big hole in the box and the front of the dishwasher had a big gouge on the front so we refused delivery. When I called customer service to get a replacement shipped they said they had to wait until they received the damaged unit back at the warehouse warehouse in FL and Im in AZ then they would credit my payment card and then I could re-order. Two weeks later the unit is still in transit to the warehouse and still dont have my refund. In the meantime I ordered a new unit different brand and different supplier and it has arrived undamaged. Not a good experience with LG.com and will not use them again.

We are very dissatisfied with the way that LG has dealt with the problem with the dishwashing machine my glasses are turning ashes I follow all the recommendations that you make without any results you do not want to understand that where a certain amount of machine is manufactured no one can come out defective and not necessarily a damaged part. I only ask that the machine be exchanged for another of the same model where the customers satisfaction is the primary thing. Well if that is satisfaction I would not like to know what it is not.

Average wheels keep falling off. We have had problem with some sensor / moisture control had to have an LG come out twice. Worst is the whole top started to fade after only a year and LG will not replace it we have to pay for service and part. I suspect water got into the panel as the dishwasher would intermittently play the about to start chimes without my pressing any buttons. Even so its disappointing to pay for a product that just lasts slightly longer than the initial warranty.

I bought this machine with great confidence LG has always been a wo derful product. I love my dishwasher but it has a problem. Ive had LG out working on it and they told me it was my house. I hired an electrician which cost me $300.00 and the electrician told me it was the dishwasher. So Im at back at the beginning. LG is coming back. I hope those gets resolved soon.

Terrible experience

I have a terrible situation with Lg and my dishwasher ongoing . The machine is bad . Has been bad for almost 4 months . Lg only wants to put parts in it . Their customer service sucks . Their technician no called no showed on the first appt . The second was cancelled and today they are supposed to come . I want a new machine or a buy out . My machine will be a year old soon. Do not recommend and will never buy an Lg again

Motor Failure

Dishwasher not even I year old and the motor went out on it. 1st appt cancelled three hrs into waiting for service person to arrive as replacement motor was damaged 2nd appt got cancelled due to no operators in area. Been waiting about 3 weeks for dishwasher to be repaired. Have 3rd appointment tomorrow and it will hopefully be fixed then

Error Prone

For the first year this dishwasher worked beautifully. At about month 16 after our purchase it stopped heating the water and gave an HE error code. While waiting for its scheduled repair to happen it began to leak water and gave an AE error code LG charged about $350 to send someone to repair this dishwasher we did not do extended warranty and I will say that LG was prompt in scheduling this. Repair person came and replaced the valve and the control board. Two days after this repair the machine leaked a bunch of water onto our floor and again displayed an HE error code. Quite disappointing. Not sure what well do now.

LG has great appliances warranty and repair

Great product. Had an issue early on with the PCB Board failing but the warranty was good and the repair was quick painless and free. So whisper quiet I forget that its running and my dishes have never been clearer.
