Terrible customer service

As others have stated terrible customer service. Tried to cancel a part of my order and LG rep cancelled the whole thing then lied and said it was under my instructions. Tried speaking with her supervisor who kept stating there was nothing they can do. Representative and her supervisor were both with communication issues and unwillingness to make anything right. I would stay away. Plenty of others out there willing to provide good service. I do not recommend shopping here.

I am in love with my fridge

My perfect refrigerator I am in love with it. Everything is so well designed. The fridge door is exactly the right size on one side for a box of milk or juice and on the other side there is a whole section for sauces. Oh and everything is so beautiful the way the doors and drawers close. The spherical ice cubes are just beautiful.

Great refrigerator until it wasnt. Plenty of room and the door in door was an amazing feature. 4 years later the compressor went out. LG sent out a tech and confirmed it needed a compressor. Waited two weeks and the new compressor was installed but didnt work. Had to contact LG again. Had to wait and wait for LG to make a decision on options. FINALLY after a month of constant calling and eventually texting with a Presidential Liaison they decided to give us a $1400 credit we HAD to use in the online LG store. We paid $2400 for the fridge when we bought it new. They didnt have the fridge or similar we had in stock so we had to order a different type. It doesnt have the door in door feature that we liked so much. After over a month without a refrigerator we didnt have many options so we ordered a fridge without the door in door. Aggravating they wouldnt allow us to buy the fridge locally so we could have more options and get it quicker. Their online store had a lot of out of stock so had to choose between just a couple refrigerators. The new refrigerator supposed to be delivered in a few days so that will make it 6 weeks weve been without a refrigerator. When we built our house we spent over $9000 on ALL LG appliances and even our TVs because we researched and decided they were the best reliability wise. If I had it to do all over again after dealing with LG customer service Id definitely buy a different brand.

Worst product with faulty parts

I got my LG 27.8 Cu. Ft four door french door smart refrigerator with InstaView May 272020..August 302024 the compressor no longer worked. Im so disgusted and now I hear I will have to pay the labor fees to get it installed. The attorney general needs to look into this because why should the consumer have to shell out more money.

Not getting much help

LG is not honorable 8/6/2024

It was a disaster unfortunately the compressor malfunctioned and it was due to a manufacturing defect in the compressor. LG is known for this and has class action lawsuits against them for this very reason. Now we are stuck with a 3000 dollar broke piece of literal junk until LG decides to fix our problem because its still under warranty... I am very very very disappointed in the help we are receiving and have received... I cant believe this.... compressor didnt last but 4 years and has a 10 year warranty on the compressor..

Fastest fridge repair

We bought a brand new LG refrigerator back in 2020 and the compressor just broke this month but I called customer service and they got someone out so fast and fixed within 1 day. Thank goodness it was still covered under warranty. I am very pleased with the service repair.

Contacted LG for warranty repair because its covered for 5 years and so far no one has called me to have someone come look at it. It has been a week ago since I spoke to customer service. Fridge worked great for 5 years. . then compressor went out. .. not part of the class action group of equipment i was told.. . .I will say that LG did take care of all costs to repair and even gave me $200 bucks to replace some food but collecting the 200 is not going well.

POOR SERVICE

I have been without a properly working unit since March 6. Tried calling customer service several times was put on hold sever minutes each time. I finally went to Lowe`s where I bought the unit. manager called LG customer service . They informed her that they would have some one check the unit within 2 working days 1 week later .no one has arrived. I spent over half a day on phone with LG CS. I was informed that they would have some one check the unit within 2 working days. one week later service tech arrived changed compressor and installed new program. Tech has been back 3 times since last time changed evaporator and condenser coils. unit still not working properly .Refrigerator temp is 45 degrees freezer temp is 30 degrees. This refrigerator has not worked properly since the day I bought it. The freezer freezes too hard and the drawer gets stuck. The top will not cool enough to keep milk cold for two days. Ive had six repair visits on this refrigerator in 18 months. My customer service experience has been awful and I feel like I wasted $4000

I loved my LG but not so much now

We were so excited to add this and the other corresponding pieces to our newly built home. Being an avid LG user I love your phones we decided to choose LG over their competition. Im beginning to think that these machines are designed to be obsolete after a couple of years. The 1st two years were great After that a steady decline : Elements of the stove not heating properly. Oven not warming properly. Freezer not freezing. Fridge not keeping things cool. Issues get fixed or so we thought and then approx a month or two later similar issues popping up again. Not sure how much food weve wasted because products stop working and we find out too late.

So far the refrigerator has proven to be a more than exceptional purchase and bang for the buck. It has all the basics that you need in fridge without having the full layout screen display which is not a huge requirement for me and my household. As with all previously owned and purchased LG products the quality and dependability are front and center which align with their core values as an excellent appliance manufacturer. Setup and delivery were seamless and smooth.

Terrible Communication with Customers

Is 0 stars an option? I can not speak to the product itself because it was never delivered but my opinion of LGs customer service is incredibly poor. I ordered this product and my delivery from the delivery service was stated as delayed and that someone would contact me. I was bummed but things happen in shipping so I gave it a week and then called to check on the status. My product was damaged in shipping. Neither the shipping company or LG called me with a status update. After an hour spent trying to resolve the situation I was able to get a replacement model ordered to be shipped back out. I was told I would receive an update within 48 hours. After 72 hours with no response we called LG to check the status again. They said they no longer have this model in stock. They did not offer a replacement product. They also stated they would not issue a refund for 10 business days. I am on about a month without a refrigerator and I am frustrated that LG does not communicate with their customers or issue timely refunds for their errors/never actually receiving a product.

Works well but ice maker has had recent problems

Unit has performed well since purchase. However ice maker failed recently and took over a dozen hard resets to begin working again. Unfortunately now fill water is not calibrated properly and when filling some comes out the side of tray. I will contact support tomorrow to see what to do.

Great shelve space and front panel door access

I bought this refrigerator 2 years ago. The refrigerator is nice the shelves on the inside of the door cracked. Be careful with the amount of condiments that you place in the door shelves. Otherwise I had no other issues with the fridge. The ease with accessing the drink shelves is great you dont need to open the fridge door the panel opens up in the front. The kids love the light and can turn it on and off with a tap of a finger.

DO NOT BUY FROM LG as many have mentioned LG customer service is a nightmare and completely unprofessional. It will become ur part time job trying to get what is owed to you either in warranty for a lemon product OR refund of your own money Ive been dealing with this nightmare company for over 5 months Yes that long without a fridge in a household that does not eat out- the fridge is the heart and health of the home and thanks to LG we are all suffering and have been because of their runaround and lack of true customer service. I have records of countless hours calling and not getting anywhere. I finally have up and bought elsewhere on a credit card and will be seeking legal council to get my money and damages back. KEEP RECORD OF EVERYTHIng Take note of your phone call time and date and what the promised resolution or follow up was because they say they are keeping records but they dont Also ask then to send you proof or a record of what their plan of action is. And if you absolutely still stuck on LG then go through a diff company and get the extended warranty but also look up Classaction lawsuits on LG bc of their fridges

WARNING*****Do Not Buy LG products Their customer service is AWFUL I purchased a Refrigerator Range and Dishwasher and Paid for installation. When my Refrigerator was installed they did not install the doors correctly. The Ledt door is about an inch higher than the right door. I requested to get them installed correctly. LG wants me to fix it myself. Sorry pay for installation if I have to fix their mistakes. Its been almost 2 weeks. The first time I contacted LG they informed that they would have the installation techs return and install the doors as they should be. A week passed without any contacting me or showing up to fix the improper install. I contacted LG customer service again. I was placed on hold and transferred 4 times an hour and 15 minutes and still no help. I was told the same 5hing again. I requested q refund of the installation charge and they refused. I also had a WELCOME promo code for 5 off my total purchase. That would not work. I contacted the 24/7 Live help chat and was told to go ahead with my purchase and then call LG customer service the next day during buisiness hours and ask for the adjustment. I was assured the adjustment would be provided ans credited back to my original form of payment. Wellalmost 3 weeks since the purchase and no adjustment has been received and 5hey just keep giving me the run around about it. So their customer service is awful They do not provide any resolution just delays. Lets pray the appliances work out with out any issues. Again beware

We bought this lg fridge since 2016. It just keep giving us headaches. Changed compressor at the 6th year. Now is not working the ice and water dispenser AND is not freezing/cooling as it should be. Too expensive the repairs for a fridge that cost us a lot. And it supposed to be top of the line.

I bought an LG refrigerator last month and we all love it It looks nice it has great features and theres plenty of room for everything. My only complaint is that the front is black stainless which looks great but the sides are just normal black I wish they were also black stainless.

Great fridge for the first 5 years...

The fridge was great. Was being the operative word. 5 years in and the compressor goes out. Good thing LG has a 10 year warranty on compressors Unfortunately even though we supplied a receipt to get the original mfg warranty its now mysteriously no long in LGs systems and they want us to provide that before any sort of support will be given. Paid 3k for a paperweight at this time. Great fridge for 5 years after that plan on buying something else. LG support was horrible.

Temperature has a governor.

My food gets spoiled fast because theres no way to adjust the temperature colder than 34 degrees. Nothing is blocking the airflow. There is no gaps in the door and the I didnt stock the fridge with to much food inside.

We bought this refrigerator 6 years ago and today it is out of warranty and does not cool AT ALL Its worth less than a $20 cooler from Walmart. Its not in our budget to buy a new fridge. So we buy ice bags put them in the freezer in our garage and use the bottom part as a refrigerator as a literal cooler where we switch ice packs daily to keep our food cool. We remodeled our kitchen and purchased a suite. Wall oven microwave refrigerator and dishwasher. My original complaint was the dishwasher - smells and doesnt wash very well. But the refrigerator not working is the final nail in LG appliances coffin. Very expensive mistake.

The technician that came to my home was rude and condescending. You all would benefit from giving you staff a training in people skills. He tried his best NOT to have to fix my appliance. He called the home office and they instructed him to repair the appliance and he said We are doing you a favor. Do me a favor dont do me any favors. I spent over 3k on an appliance and when is stops working before my warranty expires it is not a favor to repair my appliance. I wish I could leave you zero stars
